Thanks to the increase in birth rates, the launch of the 2022 maternity package is already at hand. Two bodysuits from the Black Moda’s PikkuSet brand and one body from the Aarrelabel brand by Pumpkin Design were selected for year 2022 maternity package. The fruity juicy Papaya pattern and the yellow-white Aalto pattern are designed by pattern designer Sonia Anker.
The design of the products has taken into account the everyday needs of the baby: the long-sleeved bodysuits are easy to wear thanks to the snap fastenings, and the smallest, Aarrelabel’s white wrap bodysuit has scratch protectors on the cuffs. The extension of the bodysuit in the Papaya pattern of the PikkuSet brand and long twists in the cuffs extend the life of the bodysuit. An estimated 28,000 pieces of each of the three bodysuits are made for maternity package.
The knit from Aarrelabel’s white wrap bodysuit and PikkuSet’s Papaya bodysuit is made of GOTS-certified organic cotton. The country of origin of fiber and yarn is Turkey. The Aalto bodysuit is made of BCI cotton, the fiber of which originates in the USA and Australia and the yarn originates in Turkey and Idonesia. All products are also Öko-Tex Standard 100 certified.
All bodysuits have 5 % elastane to bring flexibility and comfort to the products. The knitwear is manufactured, dyed and printed in Portugal by Black Moda Oy’s long-term partners. The products are cut and sewn in our own sewing shop in Northern Portugal, Black Moda Portugal, Lda.
